Foxtail barb infection

Anyone ever had any experience dealing with this with their dog??

Research speargrass and bird dogs. You should find some info. Fairly common in dogs run on prairie ground. Have only seen 1 case first hand. The pods or seeds travel through the body. The dog did survive, but the owner ended up having a ton of money in the dog. The treatment and diagnosis was from Purdue University after a long and puzzeling illness. This is a bad affliction and can drag on for some time. Hoping you the best. Jim
