Cats

enyone ever just use cats to start a pup? ive started a few with them got cats that run wild around the house both where i live and at the river were my parents live. just let the pups run wild run whatever they want to run and most of the time they will go to bayen the cats first then go to treeing and i just chain or kennel them up after i find them treeing on a cat or a bushy tail i dont pet them or nothing just leash them then catch me a coon and let them learn the coon goes up a tree and start from there. if only all of them were that easy to start! haha

my dogs tree ferrel cats once in a while. that's almost a trophy to me. i can shoot it out with no guilt. it's invasive and has no business in the woods.
