2 types of hunts same night

I had a first this weekend. Had option of hunting PKC or UKC at a club in Texas. Both had hunts at the same club. Thought it was a unusal idea. Is this something new clubs are doing to encourage hunters. I didn't expect it so just hunted UKC but heard several say they might have switched over if they knew in time. Thoughts?

I have seen it before but don't think the clubs are doing it on purpose.
