OT Fall Turkey Season

How many of you have a fall turkey season? These devils keep tempting me.....had to honk the horn to get them all out of the road. This is just part of the flock, the rest of them went across the road into the woods...

Fall birds are a TOTALLY fun hunt. Break up that flock, park your butt where you busted them at and call them back in. It is truly a blast. I have shot 5 fall birds I think, 3 with the bow, and 2 with the shotgun.

If it wasn't right in the middle of archery season I would hunt them more.

We had a fall season, but low numbers prompted the Game & Fish Comission to shut it down.
I remember busting a flock up with my dad when I was a little boy. He called a little and we has those dumb young birds all over us. Almost more excitement than an eight year old could handle!
