Brucellosis Testing question

I was wondering... I see on all the Stud Dog ads where the brucellosis test is required to breed ur Bitch to him. Is it also a requirement that the Stud have a current test on file?

I know some studs are tested once a year.

It absolutely should be since there are more modes of transmission than just the obvious.
The females are certainly no less important than the males and I will test my male before any natural breeding or semen collection. I would expect the same from the owner of any stud I breed a female to.
