???? help!?!?!?
We just got a new pup(cur) this week and she is 8 weeks old we are keeping her inside she is doing very good but at night when she has to go in her kennel she barks all night my wife is going too kill me if she don't stop..so how can I get her to shut up...
I just went through what your going through. I found it was easiest to start working with crate training during the day only, then after 1-1.5 weeks you can start to do nightly training.
Some people play hard-ball and force the crate training on the puppy as soon as they get it. I personally feel at that age they are going through a lot of changes and separation issues.
Those first few nights will still be painful, but usually after 2 weeks of being away from momma, they seem to handle the crate much better. The biggest thing is, if you start crate training then stick with it.
