Question about dog not staying treed???

Got a young dog 15 months thats been hunted 20 or 30 times times he'll tree for 20-30 minutes and leave some nights and some nights he'll tree 10 minutes and leave. He'll do this when he gets split and with other dogs too.

What can I do to help correct it?

tieing it to the tree will work sometimes

starting bad habits stay closer to the dog 30 mins.
you should be able to get to it.
