Garmin Question????

I just purchased a new DC-230 a couple weeks ago and after I callebrate the compass and get everything set up it shows the dog like bouncing around or just a question mark. Is this how its suppose to work?

sounds like its looking for the dog, like it lost signal. That is the only bad about garmin. But i would never ever go back to beep beep.

Sounds like the collar has not been added to the Astro.
