collar problems

I have a tracking collar that has been used only about four times and I went to put it on the dog the rod that holds the latch broke. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Do You mean the buckle is broke ??? If so there should be a feed store or tack shop that could change the buckle pretty cheap...We have 3 feed stores in my town and all of them do leather repairs and make collars and leads ,I would think it should be no problem...
