Texas Blue Lacys
Anyone on here ever use them on coon? If so how do they track? Are they open on track or silent trackers? Any info anyone has would be great. Also if anyone knows a good breeder please let me know! Thanks
Brady

Never used them on coon, but did on squirrels when growing up. They are silent on track. Lots of people use them on hogs around here. Go to the Texas Lacy Game Dog Association website (lacydog.com) and there is a list of breeders. Good luck with them. They are super smart dogs.

One of the best dog I ever owned was a full blooded Blue Lacy I called Smiley. I called him Smiley because he was a "grinner', he grinned at you when you came up to him. I mainly used him for a squirrel dog but he treed coon also. He was hot nosed and silent. There are cow dog Lacys and tree dog bred Lacys. You want a tree dog bred Lacy. I woul;d have been in the Lacy breeding business if I could have found a female at the right time. They are very intelligent!
