O.T.-Remembering "EDGE"
My son is currently serving in the 10 th Mountain 1-71 Charley company as a Army Sniper, his mentor, friend and teammate was KIA last Friday while his team was on patrol. Services are today for Sgt. Rocky Dean Edgarton. "
Jess was in debriefing for his 2 week R&R and was enroute to Kuwait when his convoy was stopped to tell of the news. He was already upset because he wanted to be on that mission.
Edge celebrated his 32 nd birthday one day prior to his passing leaving a wife and 12 year old daughter behind.
We got to meet Edge a couple of times as he and Jess were inseparable. Things are usually meant to be, I know it is tough when it hits this close to home.
R.I.P. Edge
prayers sent to his family and also for your son for a safe return tony
