loudness of a dog
i have heard that a female primarily produces the mouth on a dog. as far as the loudness/tone of the pup. is there any truth to that or is it just somebody talking. i just have to get somebody elses opinion on that.

Dont know about volume but I know she may or may not influence the type bark. I had a high squeal mouth female that never did produce a pup that sounded like her. I have had chop mouth dogs that produced half like her and the rest like the sire. Also had a sire that produce all like himself.

My 2 pups out of my Zam/Autumn cross have a mouth that is a mixture of both parents. Zam is loud bawl/chop and Autumn is loud with a crystal clear ring to her bawl/softer chop on tree. Both pups are a mixture of the 2.
