Took my pup out tonight

We took my 4 month old redbone out tonight for the first time with some blue dogs just to see if he had any interest yet. We were figuring he would just be a heel dog being so young but we were wrong. He ran with the big dogs most of the night, he checked in a few times then went right back out with them. When we finally treed in a hole, we left to go to the other dogs and thought we had left him behind, as we walked up to the older dogs he was right there with them! He was prancing and excited, not barking though but you can't expect them to do everything in one night. I was so proud of him as we have just started to train him this past week. We also took the kids out for their first hunt too and all 3 of them loved it. Couldn't have asked for much better of a night.

LOL. I always tease the guys that own the blue dogs and tell them my red dog is gonna show their dogs up when he gets older, but I always tell em that it's only gonna happen after my red dog learns from their blue dogs.
