Any coonhound training

Is there anyone that trains coonhounds in mo, il ,ia or something close to these states? A freind of mine is looking to have someone start 1 or 2 of his young hounds. He is just getting into the sport so any help would be greatful.

i'm not sure of anybody in that area . there is one in eastern n. c.. buckshot kennel ,owned by terry strickland.his ad is in american cooner every month. very honest , won't waist your time or your money. but no matter who you decide to go with , get several references. there are some really good ones out there, but there are some really bad ones too.
