New Guinea Singing Dog

I would like to show my NGSD in the UKC conformation events. I have literally only found one breeder listed with dogs registered with UKC. Is it possible in any way to get other NGSD registered? We have a club of people interested in showing. Some have gotten their dogs from breeding programs from zoos or exotic breeders. But none have UKC papers. Where do we go from here? We need to find a way to promote the breed and get the lineage going for future litters. I know an ISIS # is acceptable but only dogs bred at zoos have these numbers. And the database of original 29 dogs registered with UKC aremorethan likey dead and gone . We need a way to re-estblish the modern lineage and register new stock.

To complete in our Confirmation events, the dogs must first be registered with UKC. To apply for registration with us, the dogs must first be registered with a UKC approved registry. These registries include the American Kennel Club, the Canadian Kennel Club, any FCI registry, The Kennel Club, or the ISIS.
