little help

im looking for a cheap, affordable way to build a dog box or purchase one. im 17 and i had a box but it rotted out. any input would be appreciated. thanks caleb.

plywood or get on ebay and buy one of those do it yourself kits they look good as long as you take your time

Well, I will tell you. The best thing you can do is use marine grade plywood and I guess go ahead and paint it as well.Alot of times I have found that when I try to "fabricate" something from scratch, I could almost bought as cheap if not cheaper new!Especially after figuring in your labor! Usually, there will be someone within an hours drive that has a good box for sale that will be useable for years to come that will be even cheaper than building it yourself! Especially after buying all the hardware too! All this goes out the window though if you are able to procure the necessary material for free or next to nothing.
If it is just the bottom that is rotten, try just replacing that part. That is what I done!
