my son put nibs on the pup i got from you and he's starting to work with him on the bench.his conformation is perfect, just wish the boy had started working him sooner as he would have been something to reckon with in the big shows.boy says iceman still wants to move around a little but he's only been working with him a week or so.
was icemans parents the beardogs your son has?dont know wether to just work him on bear scent or would it hurt him to work him on both coon and bear.he flat went after the coonhide on a rope i use for starting puppys the first time he figured out what it was..he lets us know when the kittens/cats get over by him.
noticed him and my blue pup both have a world champion for a grandfather.i always had good luck with those type.my son's dog hobo who died last spring at approx 12yrs old was a grandson of a worldchampion also.i think he has found his replacement even if it ain't a walker.
when his show champion redbone male was poisioned a few yrs ago he quit working with the dogs even tho he still had his ch female redbone.i think this plott pup is going to bring him back around again.hopefully. latter wildbill.

Bill, no Chris had to put the bear dog down, because of age and could hardly move. Sad day for all of us. Keep me informed on how he is doing. I am t hinking of doing that cross one more time. Have had heard good results from the one in AL. Really hope your son does good with him. Let me know when you show him the first time and I will try to be there. Haven't done much, getting ready for Autumn Oaks. The Ohio Plott Sectional will be Nov. 15, maybe you can get him to New Philly for that event.
jackie
thanks jackie,
was hoping to have him ready for oaks but the boy wanted him so i told him he has to get him ready and i'd show him for him cause he gets the butterflys when he went to the shows.as if i still didn't too. .lol ..if the rest of that litter turned out as nice as him it was a good cross.
thanks for working with me on getting the pup.
wildbill.
