New to coon hunt.Purple Ribbon?

What does this mean?

i believe it is 3 generation of reg.dogs makes it a PR dog.

Purple Ribbon is a designation given to a dog at birth and represents a minimum of 6 generations of purebred ancestors on record at UKC. From the back of my dog's papers lol
