please help

i got a pup today its 10 months old (first coon dog i have had) it will run and tree with other dogs and will tree by its self on a hot track.............. i need some help on training it .............if anyone has some good ideas on what i can do to train it tell me

Sounds like the training is done. The rest is just putting it in the woods, giving the dog time to mature and watch it get better.

hey like the other guy said sounds like the tough part is over!!! get that dog in the woods as much as you can. if it were me i would try to hunt him by himself 3 or 4 times a week and with another good dog that you trust that isnt mean or trashy 2 times a week.

huntwalkers my only other suggestion would be to paint the ol boy blue j/k to me a coondog is a coondog no matter the color
