Yadkin River Chico?

I've noticed this dog listed in several top coondog pedigrees and listed in reference as being related to in other ads.What kind of dog is/was he (hunting style)?I noticed he wasn't titled,was he stripped of a title or only a pleasure hunting dog?

Chico was a fine hound, Owned by Jimmy Meeks of Cerro Gordo, North Carolina...........he was out of Yadkin River champ........ANOTHER outstanding hound and reproducer............Jimmy just does not competition hunt............both hounds were get deep, cold trailin', lock up and stay treed hounds.............my Gr. Ch. Nite Ch. Hayne's Creek Scout was out of Champ, and just like him.
