Umbilical Hernias
I have a 5 month old beagle with an umbilical hernia a little smaller than a marble...it wont push back in the hole, and it a little less firm than a grape...is it something a vet should fix, or is it no big deal?
It will heal on it's owne buy the time the bog turns one year old.
I called my vet, and she said it being just a little more than half the size of a marble, and almost as solid as a grape, but not going back in, it isnt anything to worry about....I am gonna still have her checked out, I do that with any new dog I bring home, but sounds like it isnt anything to worry about...
