Dog Question
I have an older female that if you hunt her to hard or in rocky ground her joints on her front legs swell up.Does anyone know what i could give her to help prevent this.
Thanks
I've heard give 1/2 an aspirin, but I'd contact a vet.

Joint pain
For joint pain and swelling in an older hound. If you think it's arthritis.
Ask your vet about Metacam.
It's expensive but it works and you can get it in a human form(Meloxicam) (cheaper)if you can find a Dr. to write a perscription. It is a NSAID (non steroidal anti inflammatory) that is used for arthritis pain.
