register rush or next day?

why is that when someone (mainly me) register a single breed w/ rush delivery it sometimes can take 2-3 weeks to come back,when rush says 5 working days.

Is this a dog that you are still waiting on papers for or have you already received them?

If a RUSH order takes 2-3 weeks it usually means that either
1. There was a problem with the application
or
2. We did not receive the application right away

With American Pit Bull Terriers it can be especially tricky because we have to wait until we receive the application from the inspector. The RUSH starts when we receive it at UKC. If the inspector waits a week to send it, it will take longer to come back. Also, the 5 days is how long we keep it, once it is done it is returned via regular, first class mail, which can take anywhere from 3 days to a week or more to deliver.
