Womack Blue Dogs

Is anyone familiar with Womack bloodlines? Are they a Big and Blue line? Thanks, Scott

Yes, they are the bigger type Blues. I never hunted with one that came from Al, but I used to correspond with him. He was an opinionated old fellow, but he was always kind to a young kid who was interested in learning about the Blues.

His foundational stock came from old Ellyson's Blue Tige, a Vaughn bred dog that kelly Bragg also used.

Big Blues

I have a Big Blue male here at my kennel. He is not quite Gascon size but dwarf's my standard Blue Ticks. In reading his extended pedigree you will see quite a few of the older named hounds in there such as : VAUGHN, BRAGG, WOMACK, and there are also a lot of old SMOKEY RIVER and UCHTMAN named dogs in there as well.

He is a big 'ol boy. I just recently bred him to a female that I have who's Sire was a Big Blue. Hoping to have some Big pup's out of the cross. I am selling the big male I have now if anyone is interested. http://personalpages.tds.net/~k9pines/page6.html Look for K-9 PINES DUSTY BLUE COWBOY.
