Cur/Feist hunters near Flora, IL

Hey guys,

My Dad is the President of the Flora, IL coon club. Anyway, I'm trying to get them to hold a UKC Cur/Feist nite hunt the same night as one of their regularly scheduled hunt. I was just wondering who around might hunt curs and would be interested in coming to this. I think UKC will just give us the certification for it or whatever for free just to try it, and our Master of Hounds has Leopards, so he got his Hunt Master certification when they came out with it.

Just wondering, let me know. Maybe if there is enough dogs, we can get them to do it at every UKC hunt. That would be good, not a whole lot of others around.

WE TRIED THOSE AT THE PRINCETON, IN CLUB WHILE THEY WERE FREE TO HAVE ALONG WITH A HOUND NITE HUNT AND DIDNT DRAW BUT ONE OR TWO AT EACH ONE, THEN UKC SAID WE HAD TO PAY $25 TO HOLD ONE ,JUST LIKE THE HOUND PART AND OUR CLUB STOPPED HOLDING THEM BECAUSE WE DIDNT DRAW ENOUGH DOGS TO COVER THE LICENCSE FEE. YOU BETTER CHECK AND SEE ABOUT THE LICENSE FEE. I DONT THINK THEY ARE FREE ANYMORE, BUT I MIGHT BE WRONG. THANKS, RUSTY

littlewabashred , Jefferson ,county coon club is having a cur section at our Feb. 10 hunt. So far there has been VERY little responce in attendance. Come on over. If you need directions feel free to call, Dan or David Ellis ----618-244-7852 . Depending on when your hunt is ,Dave and I would try to make it, we might even be able talk a couple of other people into coming also.
