Dr. Law Dog

I was at a hunt last night and a young man had a real nice looking dog tied to is truck. I asked him a few questions about him and he said he was a Lipper bred dog out of Dr. Law. It reminded me of hunts many years ago. When a Lipper dog was at one they did not always win but they got noticed because of their looks, mouth or something they did trying to beat you. He drew out with another cast so I didn't get to see him in the woods. We had 8 of central FL's finest hounds (LOL) in the woods for an hour and no coon was treed. Talking about coon clubs. This club is located in Citra Fl. They held meetings for years at the community center. One of the coon hunters down there passed away just over a year ago and his Family held a memorial hunt last year. Well they just donated about an acre of land across the street from their place and they are fixing to build a new clubhouse there. We are talking in a neighborhood of about $500,000 dollar houses on 5 acre tracts of land. Probably be the nicest coon club I have ever seen in FL. Anyway it was fun. Nobody beat anyone up and everyone seemed to have a good time. And I got to see a nice looking Dr. Law offspring.

I have a Dr law female I bought from Tom hopkins. She was a late starting dog but the the one thing about her is she has those coons. I have seen her make one slick in 8 months of hunting. Maybe be there is something to dogs of yesterday lol.

Those other dogs probably ran the lipper one off

I own 2 Dr Law dogs. They are out of Dr Law and Poison Ivy. Same parents, different litter. Tom Hopkins owns both. They look like the male dog Bruce took a pic of..... Black headed blanket backs, both have big big mouths.

I have one out of Dr. Law and a rat/clover female. Blanket back and black headed. Has a big big mouth as well.

I bred a Grandaughter of Stylish Harry to Dr Law and she raised 3 pups . I started all 3 and all 3 made well above average hounds . We settled on 1 to keep . He was a bawl mouth male black headed . He was everything you would ever want in a hound . One of his testicles didn't drop / hung up inside and had to be cut . He still trees coons everytime but not quite the same . I started 4 other dogs from different females from Dr Law and all 4 of them were nice . That's 7 of 7 out of him that I trained that made nice dogs . Im thinking its time to get another
