NORM IS A PLEASURABLE DOG TO BE AROUND IN THE KENNEL OR THE WOODS. NORM IS FAR FROM PERFECT. WITH SO MANY KNUCKLE HEADED DOGS OUT THERE I THINK NORM MAY BE A GOOD ALTERNATIVE. IF YA DON'T LIKE THERE KENNEL MANNERS IT'S HARD TO GET OFF TO A GOOD START! NORM DOESN'T PACE THE PEN OR RUN THROUGH HIS DROPPINGS,CHEW EVERYTHING UP,OR BARK HIS HEAD OFF AT THE BOX.
NORM WAS EASY TO TRAIN AND QUICK TO LEARN AND EASY TO HANDLE. HE IS A COONDOG. HE DOESN'T BABBLE, OPENS ON MOST TRACKS WITH A SHORT BAWL, LONG BAWL LOCATE,CHOP ON TREE. HIS VOICE IS DEEP AND SOUNDS LIKE A HOUND BUT COULD BE LOUDER. NORM GENERALLY HUNTS IN CIRCLES AT A GOOD PACE. HE ISN'T LAZY BUT IS NOT A BIG DEEP HUNTER THAT WILL RUN WILD EITHER. NORM IS A GOOD TREE DOG. HE DOES JUMP A LITTLE AT THE TREE BUT DOES NOT GET CRAZY. NEVER SAW A ILL MANNER FROM HIM ABOUT ANYTHING. I DON'T MAKE IT TO THE BIG HUNTS AND NORM PROBABLY WOULDN'T WIN THEM ANYWAY. THANKS KEEL JOHNSON

they was some nice looking pups. i keep a female here. she is a good looking and nice acting pup. i look forward to hunting her.

norm has been treeing plenty of coon and helping me train pups. if anyone want to come for a hunt and watch him go, your more than welcome to come along and see him go.

norm has won king of show at zone 2 hunt at chester berks club and king of show at the md. state hunt.

norm has picked up a couple wins recently.

i have bred a female to norm recently. she is a ch nt ch with a win towards gr nt ch. she is a jet , smokey river and hammer bred gyp.
