I use a cricket 22 with laser beam sight!! Does a real nice job with out a lot to carry!!!

i use a marlin bolt action rifle most of the time but sometimes i use my berreta pistol with a red dot on it. its accurate as a pistol can me but its a lot louder than a rifle.

And you will be hard pressed to find anything out the box accurate to beat a CZ.

Where do you guys get the lasers at? I done a search but couldn't find anything on line. Also what is the advantages / disadvantages of a laser over a scope?

I got mine at the local hunting store here! The advantage over a scope is u don't have to aim the gun. Put the laser beam where u want it an pull the trigger! I can hold my cricket at arms length or from the hip put the dot between the coons eyes an pull the trigger.

I like a 4x32 scope because as you get older you can see more coon...LOL...You would be surprized how many you find in trees with the leaves off...

see the exception under hunting by artificial light section on page 15. it sums up up to you CAN if your coon hunting with a dog check it out get a laser and have fun I do
