BENEFIT for BILLY BARBER.... DONATIONS NEEDED

A few months ago I put a Prayer request on here for my GOOD friend AND fathful UKC beagler Billy Barber who is suffering from Lou Garrets desease.
Billy has gotten steadily worse with his desease loosing probably 90% of the use of his arms, he's having trouble with his speach as well as brain function. The Doctors gave him 6 to 12 months back in March.
The Holmes Conservation & Beagle club and I have decided to go beyond prayers and hold a Benefit for him. After talking with his Family (which MOST live in Maryland, or S. Carolina) We have decided to first off Raise money for funeral expences,(which NONE of his family can afford) then once we have that covered, we would like to make his remaining time with us as comfortable as possible.
August 13th 2011 is the date, it will be held at the HCBC , As of now we are planning a BBQ Chicken Dinner with all the fixins, a Cornhole Tournament live music and/or DJ, and OF COURSE an AUCTION.
Thats where you all come in, ( Of course your welcome to attend also)
BUT,,,,,,,,,,,WE WILL SELL ANYTHING as long as it's LEGAL.
We are also working on a Bank account to send cash donations as well.
So lets get this thing rolling, I want to make this the biggest and BEST benefit the HCBC has ever hosted.
ANY and ALL donations will be GREATLY APPRICIATED.

PM me your number. I will work on the guys down here and get some stuff donated. I also will put in a call to the Lou Gehrigs Foundation and see what they can send to help out.

Guys, this is a bad disease. My wife was diagnosed with this a few months ago. To explain for some who may not know, there is NO CURE for Lou Gehrigs and it is also 100% FATAL. The life expectancy of a person diagnosed with this from the beginning stages to the end is 1 to 5 years. Less than 10% make it 5 years and another 5% make it 10.

The coshocton county beagle club will donate 200 dollars got it approved with the board the other night give me a call scott and let me know if you want me to mail it to you or just give it to you at the hunt

Wow, I guess I need to check the message board more often. I just read this and felt like I got punched in the gut. Billy is a GREAT person. I really wish I could be there on the 13th but I will be in Texas. Scott, I will call you, I want to do something. I dont have much "dog" stuff anymore, but I will find something for your auction or send some cash.

Anyone that has ever been to the CCBC has met Billy. Scott is right, this is the time to dig deep and help out a fellow beagler. This guy has done whatever has been needed for the CCBC and many other Beagle clubs for years and never asked for anything in return. Now is the time to give Billy something in return for all that he has done for others.

Bunnybuster and H&S THANK YOU also, If you would....... PLEASE send me something in WRITING like Pedegrees age of pups AND studs ect, With your name, address, & phone number ect ect. That way I actually have something to give the buyer other than my "word" I usually print something up on the computer but right now I'm working real crazy hours and LOOONG days, I don't want to miss anyone or ANYTHING.

Come on fellas, I've had alot of promises but not many follow throughs as of yet. Still need alot of help here, Billy has been in the Hospital since monday with phnumonia, He's doin better and may get to come home Thursday. But we still need donations PLEASE
