Garmins coming down in price

We just went to Sportsmans Warehouse and bought the older style Garmin Astro 220 with the d-20 collar for $399.00.They are changing over to the d-30 collars and are running them for $599. You could buy extra d-20 units for $149. We thought that was a nice price for one older collar and the unit. Scheels still had them on sale for $589..... so check around and you can find lower prices.. I was more then happy to pay the $399 at Sportsmans warehouse. Now i just have to save up for 2 of the newer style collars.

Just be carefull not to trust the dc-20 without a backup collar on the dog the 20 wont last long

You can buy the Astro 220 Combo Package w/ DC-30 for $579.99 that comes with one DC-30 collar and a extra DC-30 collar for $195 wich comes to a total of $774.99. Why would you buy a Astro 220 for $399.99 then pay $195 for 2 more collars which puts you at 789.99? But then you do have the 220 collar as well. Can you use 2 different type collars with the Astro at the same time?

But anyway here is the link for the Astro 220 combo package with the DC-30 for 579.99.

http://www.hdssupplies.com/garmin.html

This link also has the DC-30 collar sold seperatly along with all the other gadget's one realy doesn't need with the system but likes to have.

A link on here somewhere yeaterday that had the dc 30 for 130 something dollars!

I am sure that Conkeys has a better deal than that on the Astro bundle as well as better prices on the DC 30 collars.
Check out Bruce's site on the Vendors sectionl. And they back the product and great customer service to boot.

We plan on using the dc20 for the bird dogs... that shouldnt be any problem.. I noticed on the site that is listed above the astro 220 hand held unit alone sells for $450.00.. I will keep this site in mind when looking for the dc-30 collars.. thanks.

Good deal!! I hope it comes on the 10th! It sure is nice to see these tracking units coming down in price so more people can afford to use them on our hounds. No matter what you pay.. its worth it to keep track of your hounds!!

Youll never believe

Well I think I just bought the cheapest Garmin. I paid 575 for the Atsro DC-30 system and two collars shipped straight from Garmin to my front door. No gimmicks no lies thats what it cost me. If anyone has gotten a better price on one that is straight from Garmin and not another vender somewhere let me know.
