Seems like he was from Bugger Branch Kennels, maybe a 1/2 brother to Paul,Billy Tysinger owned him when he was winning a lot,I think Stretch won the National Ch. in 96/98???

THANKS
what line of walkers did Bugger Creek run
Btt
Henry was off of Cameron Richardsons Buggar Branch Paul if I'm not mistaken. Billy Tysinger of Harderville Sc owned him and Rick Stretch did a lot of winning with Henry. Henry would change zip codes on you in a hurry.

Stretch made the comment that he was the easiest to win with, as close to 100% accurate as any he ever followed but had no style.....whatever that means.

If I am not mistaken, but I could be, that is a dog Tim Cramer was hunting one night. It was a bad night and we had not heard anything out of the dog after 20 minutes . We were hungry and decided to go to Varnville about 10 miles away and get some hamburger baskets to go. He knew the dog would stay treed. Anyway, we got about 5 miles down the road and glimpsed something on the side of the road hauling butt. Tim asked "what was that"? I said it kind of looked like a dog. We stopped and it was the dog we had turned aloose.
henry was off kenny medlins buggar branch paul.and richardsons katie, that belonged to cameron richardson.way before my time but i heard he was tough.cameron owned several mates to henry.
Lee Weatherford of Louisiana owned him at one time and Rick Stretch handled him. Lee told me he was the best he ever had.
Henry
ROBERT Williams of Texas
said that he sold Tar Hill Henry for 19,000
He owned him and trained him
btt
That was a lot off money for him back in the day.
he must have been really good Mr Williams said once he broke him off trash he was a hound He says that his Gauge dog is of the same caliber today he is a blue dog
I hunted with Henry a bunch of times. What they meant by no style was this..he went hunting quick but wasn't a super strike dog. He didn't have a real big mouth and didn't bark very hard. BUT, you would look at nearly every coon he treed. The way he would win was by getting treed alone (he sounded like a house dog...they usually didn't pull to him) and after you searched your tree; you would go look at his coon. He definitely would get out and go. Interestingly, when Lee first bought him; he was fairly easy to call in if he wasn't treed someplace. But, that stopped after they got used to each other.
He got beat in the $KC world hunt one year by the other dog getting 1st strike and him 2nd. They both split treed and the difference in the cast was that strike. I believe she wen on to win the hunt that year. Henry was in the Top 20 the year the Radar dog won it. I don't think they would have had to hunt until daylight to get a winner if he had made it that far.
HUNTED WITH AND JUDGED HIM A FEW TIMES I WAS THE JUDE ON A VERY GOOD FINAL CAST AT A PRO HUNT WHEN RICK WON IT AT KINDER MO....IF MEMORY SERVES ME RIGHT THE REASON HE DIDNT GET VERY GOOD STIKE POINTS IS HE WAS MOSTLY TIGHT MOUTHED...BILLY OWNED HIM THEN..
ok thanks for the info

Mr Owen, did you ever hunt with the Mr Radar dog Lee had? Richard Boyd bought him from Lee in the mid 90's. I bought him from Richard a few years later.
