The trouble with dual purpose hounds.
When we left the house I said "Dylan, lets go COONhunting". I guess he must have misunderstood. lol
Just wanted to share the picture. I thought the black background made it kinda unique. This is the second lion I've treed at this spot in the last month and haven't treed a single coon. Makes me wonder if the lion are eating the coon.
I KNEW Dylan had to have a hole somewhere. Now I know,He's trashy.LMAO nice shot.Bill what zoom does your camera have?Bobbie and I are in the market and that kind of picture is what we are looking for.

The reason I hunt this bloodlines is a quote an old friend gave me,"Your either making dust or your eating it."
Oh Man!
That's a GORGEOUS picture! I would LOVE to see that some day...if I'm surrounded by hounds and gun toting humans... since I'd be a tiny bit scared but I Really want to go on a lion hunt someday...what a sight. That's a beautiful picture. Hope you find a coon soon!

Like we always say Travis, if they're going to trash they'd better do it well. lol
We treed the cat behind one of the ranch hands house. He came out and took the picture. I don't know what kind of camera he had but it was a big sucker. Looked like it should have come with a trailer to pack it around with.
LOL....

Nice job Bill, and another job well done by Dylan.
I'll pass that on to him Heather. I'm surprised it came out so clear considering he was shaking like an aspen in a hurricane.
Bill Ziegler, that's the kind of photo that gets you in the calendar! If you have more of that quality in high res of your hounds hunting Send them along. See samples of what I do here. http://coonhoundcalendar.com/Gallery/
ladycathunter's hound made the calendar.

Great pic
Also makes a kewl back ground setting on your desktop
thats a great picture
Bill,
That is not a problem, lol. Now when you go bear hunting and walk 4 miles in the pooring rain up and down the mtns into a tree and see a **** coon or bobcat sitting there; THAT is a problem A bear or a lion in a tree is NEVER a problem
Awesome pic!!!

I have NEVER figured out why a cat of that size runs up a tree when a 50# dog is chasing him. LOL Seems to me that he would turn around and take care of business! Those teeth and claws would certainly leave a mark.
Again, GREAT PICTURE!

Very nice photo BZ! It was taken with a Nikon D80. The lens...I do not know. THAT'S what makes the difference! That and the person behind the camera!
