I would like to ask everyone to keep Quincy and Christy Clayton in your thoughts and prayers. Christy's father is in surgery today for a four way bypass. We wish him the best and a speedy recovery.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers! They are working! I wish I would have had time to post something sooner but it has just been a rough last few weeks for us. Quincy and myself mom and dad and cheyenne all had the flu and quincy and daddy got pnumonia and I got bronchitis. Daddy went to the dr Friday and that's when they did the bloodwork and found out something wasn't right. Did nuclear stress test Monday anothher one Tuesday. Catherization Wednesday and surgery today.

Daddy Update! The surgery went well. He did have a little trouble with low platelet count so his blood didn't want to clot so it took a little longer but they finally got him over that and out into recovery. I got to go up and see daddy for a little bit. He is off the ventilator and breathing on his own now. The nurse said he was doing really well. They were going to take some of the tubes out tonight. She said they would probably get him up and walk some tomorrow. I will post more as I find out. Thanks in advance for all the thoughts and prayers! They are working!!

For those of u who are my friends on facebook I am posting updates there also.

Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers and please keep them coming! God is working his magic for sure! Love ya'll!

Christy, I am glad your Dad was able to retire, I hope he gets over his surgery quickly so he can enjoy his retirement.

Daddy Update: We just got back from seeing daddy! He was very awake and he said he wasn't in any pain except his back hurt for not being able to move. They said his platelets and BP were still a little low but he was doing good. They are going to move him to another room right now. Its still an ICU room buts its not quite as critical as where he is now. He was able to talk to us a lot. He got to eat a few bites and has been sitting in the chair since 2am. His nurse Dylan said he was doing good. They said it will just take time. We will be able to go back to ssee him at 2. So another update then!!

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers! They are working! I can see God working his magic as everytime we go see daddy he is getting stronger! It will still be a long road but he is still with us and that's the most important thing!

I thank god and am just glad the drs caught it when they did because they said if he would have had a heart attack it would have killed him.

Daddy Update: Well...daddy got moved to a room with no visiting restrictions now! He's not in ICU anymore he's on the 4th floor now. They took his pic line out of his neck because it was leaking and after that most of all the swelling in his neck went away so he was able to eat a good bit of his supper. We stayed in and out from about noon till 6 today. He's doing pretty good. He said he was pretty sore and didn't feel to good today. but he'd been moved 2x walked 3 times had xrays and all that so he was pretty tired when we left. Hopefully now that he's in that room he will be able to get a little more rest. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayeers! They are working!

I just wanted to let everyone know that daddy got to come home today! Still has a long road ahead but he will be fine in no time!

I wanted to thank everyone for all their support and thoughts and prayers! They were greatly appreciated and worked!

Well...daddy is back in Mission again. He's got a partially collapsed lung and is retaining fluid really bad. They are giving him steroids for his lungs and lasics for the fluid. The steroids made him sick today so now they have him on meds for that.

Hopefully they will get him better and he can go home again in a few days and actually get better this time!
