Maybe it was not intentional.

just don,t tell its half walker and go ahead and single reg. it a bluetick.

Posted by T.LEE on 06-11-2010 10:06 PM:

registered

Didn't a guy have a half walker half bluetick up for sale a while back? I believe she was called "Aunt Bee" and she was registered as a bluetick. I personally don't see a problem with this. If you don't like it then don't breed to it or buy pups from it. Hey man bring that pup on over to Hudson one night and We will put him in the woods.

If you're gonna do that, why not just slap a set of papers on the dog? Its just as crooked...

What year and how is a vote like that done? Officers or members? Also do you remember the % of votes for this? I am a member but there are Tons of people with UKC registered Blueticks that are not BBOA members, seems a vote like that leaves a lot of people out.

If no intentional crossbreeding is accepted, does that mean accidental crossbreedings are accepted as long as they meet the breed standards of BBOA during inspection and can pass the hunt test requirement of the single registration process?

Yes.

As long as the Books are open, they meet breed standard and tree a coon with a UKC field rep present they can be single registered.

Mike, when are the Bluetick books going to be open again?

This dog has to be inspected by a BBOA Bluetick Rep. It has to meet Bluetick breed standards and be able to tree a coon by itself. If this dog meets these requiremwnts we need DNA done on this dog and then UKC has final approval. There are fees that go along with these but not sure what they are.

Mark Hauck is the man in charge of Single Registration for the year 2010 contact him for details Single registration is open from July 1 2010 to Dec 31 2010.

If you try to register a crossbreed and it is found out then it wont get registered.

Alot of Bluetick owners are not members of BBOA but since BBOA is the Bluetick Breed Charter for UKC than thats why we make the rules and regulations. Simple as that.

Its a UKC requirement to have a 3-Generation pedigree on the dog you want to single register?

Hey Chiggers I think you hit it right on the head. If I have 3 generation would't that make it registered anyway. I think Blackntan breed have the same rule, I would like to ask if anyone out there has seen a single reigstered blue dog or black dog since this 3 gen rule has been in effect?

A 3 gen. ped. should mean it's a reg. dog doesn't it ?????

I mean what is a cur dog ??? Mixed breeding to get the best of each....

Start a new breed----- bluker / waltic

I don't know..

As long as he/she trees COONS and you're having fun doing it..

Don't always follow, lead the way sometimes...
Had a reg. saddleback B/T once... (Squirrel dog) run deer all day for me,everyone else could kill a sack full of bushy tails with him
go figure... LOL
