Was he lost at a hunt? He is a good looking hound. We dont have many redticks in Kansas so if he is here he should be easy to spot.

Did he have a garmin collar on? If so you might want to post the number the collar is set on. The hunters in the area can program it in to there garmin.

Larry never called you and he had your dog at his house? That seems a little suspicious to me. Not pointing any fingures or anything but if I was him I would be extremly upset about your dog. Sorry to hear this and if I see anything I'll let ya know.

Posted by redtickhunterDG on 09-21-2010 04:14 PM:

no I have not heard from him since two weeks before crank came up missing. He has moved and no phone works either.

Strange

I paid a man in Oklahoma (many years ago) to hunt one of my Blueticks. He called me after one week to brag on how well my dog was doing "blows the top off the trees when he trees a coon"
Turns out he moved a couple of days after getting my dog AND the MONEY & he had called me from a pay phone in town. A retired Sheriff (I had not met previously) called me & said "Lets go get your dog." I met him in a small town & we rode together WAY out in the woods & found my dog tied behind a doghouse. The poor dog had been obviously mistreated - he was terrified to even crawl up to me. Turns out the guy needed the $ to move and when he said he'd hunt my dog - all he wanted was the money. Turns out the retired Sheriff was friends with a member of the local coonhound club who watched this man take my $ but didn't bother to tell me the guy was a scumbag - just told the retired Sheriff what a joke it was on ME. I NEVER would have found my dog if the retired Sheriff had not stepped in and helped.

Is this the same Larry that is hunting a PR reg. pup out of Crank (that's around a year old now) and his own Hanna dog? I heard he was allowed to breed his bitch to Crank then Ken Beichle sold his half of Crank to Larry H. But never quite got all his money. Sounds like Larry H.is one of the owners on this missing or stolen dog.Is this true or is someone yanking my chain?

BS no breeders certificate was signed and thoose pups should have no papers I would love to know that he is entering a dog
that the papers read that it is out of crank.

Larry is not a owner because he has not paid for his half yet.

Also if you have a phone number I would love to talk to him about this matter.

I just want my dog back.
