Who Wants on Tailgate Adventures?

We've received a lot of great feedback (and some necessary criticism) over this first season, and we appreciate the response. A huge thanks to everyone that made this possible and all of you that are watching. At the end of the month we start our "re-run" quarter for the DishNetwork viewers, as well as launching on DirecTV. And for the rest of you, ICTV will be launching streaming video on their website, soon. Please keep watching and providing us feedback!

One of the most common questions we're asked, "Is how can I join the adventure and be a part of the show?" And as much as we would like to include everyone, it's just not feasible. There are a lot of great dogs across the country, as well as great people and places to hunt. But there are only 13 episodes in a season, and of course there's the affordability of traveling coast to coast, to consider. And... right now we're trying to firm up sponsors for Season II, before we start filming again.

So... keep providing us your ideas for shows, and if we're in your area, or can make it your way, we'll bear your invitation in mind. Or you can join the fan club and perhaps win a televised hunt:

Happy Hunting!

Would it be possible to do a show on a larger hunt, such as BBOA Days, Walker Days, ect, ect and follow a cast. Just a thought maybe it's already been done or suggested.

I think a good idea is the one that was suggested earlier to do a big hunt possibly Autumn Oaks. Not only the hunt but also show some film of walking around the grounds and all the people that are at the large hunts.

Please understand that it will not air on Direct TV until the first or second week of January (the when is FAR beyond our control), but it looks like it will be on channel 344 on Direct TV and 260 on Dish.....

I'm planning on being at the Grand American this year for the show. We won't be going on a cast though.

Yes it will be on DishNetwork, as well as DirecTV. Both of which, on the basic subscription package.

come to iowa in the spring you will get some good hunts! Ill put you up! Good food, and some good hounds! There is a bunch dang good coonhounds within 50 miles of me, and im sure every one of them will give you a good hunt!!

Posted by Sammy on 12-12-2009 06:30 AM:

Marv is right come to Iowa, lots of coon and good dogs and Marv has some real good hunting! Then the next problem is to get Mediacom, which is a cable tv service to carry the programming so I can watch it!!!

I like the show, but you need to lighten up and laugh and joke a little. Have a little fun. You guys are way to serious for coonhunters.

Larry,

We could not agree more...but I'm telling you....it's not as easy being in front of those cameras as one would believe.

Dave does a great job of trying to "lighten the mood", but it is really up to the guests to "follow along" and have a good time.

Keep watching, I think you will see that we do in fact have a good time, and depending on who the guest is drives the amount of "fun" that comes through the camera lens.

Maybe i could co-host,,,, kinda be your Barney sidekick. What does it pay? Cash is fine.

Posted by Oak Ridge on 12-13-2009 03:39 PM:

Wes,

That job comes with a whole lot more "responsibilities"..

For one...you would have to take direction from the director! That would probably "cramp your style"....

We had a great time at your place!

Dave already has Joe for a sidekick. How much more of a Barney Fife type character can you get! LOL!

I'm gonna ask for one of Tailgate Adventures packages for Christmas, maybe get one for the old man as well.

keep up the good work.
