How long......

After your dead and gone does your breed line continue? I mean yes the dogs go back to yours several generations back in their pedigree, but since you've not done the breeding, is it really yours, or people riding on your name or line?

Suppose you were still alive, and you sold someone a pair of Nt. Ch. dogs that were both bred by you and from your "line". You made sure that ownership from you to the new owner was legally transferred at the time of sale.

If that person breeds those 2 dogs together (both of which have your kennel name on them), the litter will have the new owner's kennel name on them (and not yours), because the new owner is the breeder.

Your kennel name ended with those 2 breeding dogs, but in this case, your LINE has been continued (at least for THAT one generation), because both of the parent dogs are directly from you and your "line".

But once either one of those 2 original dogs is bred to another dog (from a different line), or if one of their puppies is bred to another dog (from a different line), the resulting litter is now from a mixture of lines, and not just your line. So.....

It would be customary, when asked about the puppies, for the new owner to explain that he bought the original pair from you, but the new owner would then say that he has then added the following lines: (and he would then go on to name the most recent lines in the pedigree).

If you were dead, it would still work the same way.

I know how it goes, or should go. I just get a kick out of how some of these people breed and sale pups and all, claiming they are such n such bred. Once a guys not breeding dogs, and someone else is it all changes, that's the new guys breeding and so on. Alot of coattail riders, and putting names on dogs just to sale them.

How long .............. Well I wonder how long we are going to hear how good these 2 yr old dual grands out of lipper are big hunts come and go some right in their back yard and they are a no show !! There is a $50,000 world hunt next month I will make a deal I will hunt one of my dogs in it if they will hunt theirs we will put the results on this page !!

I got one better than that I got an 11 yr old one eyed one I will hunt heads up with one of them she's 4 times rattler and 5 times lipper but her papers are right. Reason lipper is even still around because the kc's didn't want to pull 50,000 sets of papers because the Dna ain't right and that's a fact !!

Rattler is unattainable because of who has him now !! Not sure what the future holds on him. But for a dog with only 1000 pups and still being just as disirable and just as good as reproduction percentages and just about as many titled living offspring as lipper with less pups he has my respect. He still shows up twice in a lot of dogs 3 generation pedigree. If a person is going to put a dog up on a pedistol as the greatest reproducer ever put his offspring in the major hunts and prove it if I could with rattler offspring I would. But that's me I love to prove my point.

If your numbers about fake Lipper dogs are real then that would put lippers real numbers more inline with rattler except the titles, I think Lipper still wins.

By NO MEANS do I think Lipper was the greatest reproducer ever. Most I had out of him I considered worthless. But, now and again I got an exceptional one.

I think he was a dominant reproducer of mouth and hound looking dogs. That is why I have this one.

I do not think he sired 5000 pups and if he did his percentages surely don’t support his being a phenom. I do think his pups reproduce better.

There is another Lipper dog that I know did not produce as many pups as it shows.

I like dna we have now

If the good ones were really out of him lol. You remember me telling you about the littermate to lipper that would walk 5 ft and dig a hole and bark in it................. This pup out here has lipper 5 times he barks at his reflection in his food bowl and yesterday he dug a hole and was barking in it ......,........ Now I proved my point lol.

You need to look at the new dog food thread, or we can talk dog food here if there’s something about feed you need to get off your brain?? Nows the time to get it all out.

I don’t think UKC knowingly registered 5000 pups out of Lipper, I do think there were several litters registered to him and he was no where near the female.

For a fact another major Lipper stud had several pups registered to him and I know he was never around the females.

Me and Tar are friends, we talk on the phone sometimes more than I care to LOL, but he told me they knew it and gave the man a pass because the money was rolling in. Now if my friend is gonna post that Lipper had 50.000 false papers out of 5137 pups someone else is at fault not Lipper.

If a dog was registered as out of lipper that was not that dogs pup , grand pups , great grand pups ect papers would not be right that's how I got that big number fact is the well should have ran dry a long time ago and about every 5 years here comes some more it's getting fishy guys.
