Rat Dog

I just searched the 10 day forcast for Lisbon on the weather channel. They are calling for 40s & 50s by day and 30s & 40s by night for the entire forecast same as us. So what ever they may have on the ground now should be gone by then.

cool...we still have 2 to 3 feet in our woods

Just walked across the yard, maybe 100 yards to check on the bees. Snow is melting fast but it's still knee deep here. Bees are buzzing. 45 degrees never felt so nice.

I was going to hunt tonight but decided to run the squirrel dog instead. I was glad I made that decision the snow that's left was so slippery my clumsy *ss was horizontal as much as i was vertical. LOL Should be a whole different story in another day or two.

it's melting fast here but long ways to go. I'm right on the I-80 corridor.
I'm jealous of you guys without much. I'm tempted to go to $KC hunt at Lisbon tonight just to hunt. Maybe by the weekend here.

There's one at laurelville tomorrow night. We still got some snow on the ridge but the lowlands are looking pretty bare.

All I can say is good luck for those that come to Lisbon! You will have plenty of coon to run from what I saw Thursday. The woods are real clean in most of the flat areas but lots of ice when I was out. Crossing the fields was rough at times because of the deep spots. We have had a good bit of rain and some mild temps so things should be even better! ANY ONE SHOW ME HOW TO SET UP A YOUNG DOG? never did the benching much.
