Black & Tan Sectional April 13 Summer Shade, KY

First time for the Summer Shade Coon Club to hold a sectional. We have lots of good hunting plenty of good guides. We hope to have a good turn out. We picked April 13th, leaves are still off and not many other hunts. Come hunt with us.

I know Gene, few black dogs show up at the SS hunts. Most enjoy a good sectional. Sorry

we were planing on coming there but this one is in our back yard. with fuel prices i got to stay close to home if i can. they use to have a 200 mile limit on sectionals on same weekend.

Here is how it happend Larry.
3. All sectionals must include one show and one hunt. Two night sectionals, scheduled for Friday and Saturday of the same weekend will be given preference but single day events will be allowed at the discretion of the Executive Vice President. Sectionals must be at least 100 miles apart.

You guys are almost 200 miles apart.

very true about the 200 miles,but ours is a 2 night and we had it the same weekend last year. if these thing were surpose to be look at they wasn,t. I guess if your half way you get a choice.

JIM we understand it,s tuff. Hope both hunts do good,but i thank it will hurt one or both.

Larry I apologize we didnt mean for this to happen. You have hunts all around you that weekend Mo, KY, OK. Hopefully we can all draw in good crowds. Hopefully the creeks wont rise

Sorry didn't make it. Talked to Joey Potter and he said he was going to KY and drew mitch loggins. My pregnant sis was in hosp in Livingston and had to go there and see about her. Catch you soon and go hunting maybe.

We had 20 dogs total it was a low turn out. I KNOW SOME OTHERS THAT DIDNT COME BECAUSE OF A LITTLE SNOW...THEY WERE ALMOST TO THE CLUB HOUSE AND TURNED AROUND. I wont name any names because I didnt hunt

It was a good hunt, Randal, sure hated you was unable to come. Will be praying that you have a speedy recovery from your surgery.
My youngest son, Matt, got to go on his first comp. hunt and told his mom he had a great time, found a good deer shed, and got to meet the guys Duck Dynasty.
