If you want one that is brighter then a 21 volt with a 5100 has a color LED and has good brun times check out the Boss 12 volt belt light(don't let the 12 volts fool you this thing is bright). You can pick the color Red, Green, or a Amber that is more the color of the old 5100s.

tim i have the k light new beacon and its bright the sunspot or the sunfire buddy of mine has a sunspot and the sunfire plus the beacon has a 5 postion swith

I really like my Valley Creek light. 21volt belt light. Really light weight and don't need to charge it but about once every 10 hunts or so. Don't know anything about their customer service but some else might. The whole thing cost me around 225. A year ago.

could anyone post a picture? how heavy are they? i tried a couple of the cap lights that i absolutely could not wear on my head for more than a couple hours because of the weight.

all of this for 250.oo and the spot is really bright , the cap light is real light, we let a guy put it on and he said it was lighter than any of the other cap lights he had tried , good luck with which ever light you buy

........I think these are prob nice lights, but I know the head is Not as bright as the Sunfire, never used one of the Spots, but I doubt it being as bright,

don't know how many of these fit in the 250 price cap.....but the single colored LED is a have to for me from now on. i have a Kelly cap light with the red LED. I rarely have to wonder about the coon being there...I usually see eyeballs somewhere from 75 to 50 yds from the tree.

How about this...... Go to alibaba.com and get you light for about $50 from China (and that is where many of these lights these suppliers are selling comes from) with free shipping. You will have a light that is almost as bright as anything out there for a fraction of the cost. Keep in mind most of them do have a tight spot though, which I like!
