Does any one have any pics of yadkin tar rattle shaker or his pedigree?
????
PEDIGREE INFO
Rattle Shaker is directly from Yadkin Tar Rattler and Moonshiner's Sassy. Sassy is a daughter of Lipper and Dual Gr. Cedar Hill Sass. Delton Hall ran some ads with pictures of him in '96 and '97 that I remember seeing. Decent looking dog w/blanket back and red head as best I remember. I have hunted with a direct daughter of Shaker several times. She is a get deep, chop mouth track dog, just a fair mouth, fairly accurate, and will stay treed. She was treed for over 2hrs Saturday night. That is the only dog I know of from Shaker, so there is a least one good one off of him! Keep 'em spotted.

id like some of that bloodline . i had one same cross as moonshiner sassy . been a few years . whos got some . ?
delton hall here in tx is studing a younger brother to shacker his name is grntch rattle snake.hes getting up in age so im not sure how much longer he will be at stud.
Call Clay Scott in Missouri, he can tell you anything you want to know about Shaker. He owned and studded him before and after Delton had him. Clay now has Sackett Jr. Son for stud ,has had ads in recent Am Cooner, he'll treat you right.
I bred a Gr Nt Ch female to Shaker back when Clay had him.

old shaker was a coondog period.all the dogs from the rattler/sassy cross were that way.they were super balanced. about a third of them would run with a short mouth. sassy put a tremendous amount of tracking ability in every thing she welped. rattler put the brakes on them. i raised and hunted these dogs for 12 years. and now im hunting off spring and grand off spring.
these dogs were hard nosed coon dogs. mabe to much coondog to win big time.
when clay scott owned shaker, mac mcalister would use old shaker for a measuring stick. mac told me that old shake was the best tar rattler dog he ever seen.

I liked the Rattle Shaker dogs. I used to hunt with a fellow that had some. They were not what I would consider typical Walkers.
They had good noses, big mouths, and liked to have the coon when they treed.

john when jim hagen and i stumbled on to this cross, we had no idea what we were in store for. they ruined us. they all turned out. they were classy, loud, hard going.track driving, blow down tree dogs that had the coon when they treed. they started quick, and they were absolute naturals. needless to say we made that same cross 3 times and got 2 sissters to sassy and bred them to rattler also. it was a once in a life time cross. i am truley blessed for being able to be a part in that. your freind jay

dual gr james river spooner and ntch james river bud.lived here till they both died. they were littermates to shaker. they were probobly as good of any night , any kind of condition coon dogs that ever lived. when they were cut loose they had one thing on there mind.find a coon. they were track driving super stylish stand on the wood blow down tree dogs. and were impressivly acurate, old shaker was that kind of dog,but he was not quite as loud and shaker mostly stood back at the tree.
old bud had 3 or 4 wins to grand and was never finished.my cousin owned him and he quit the hunts. all these dogs from this cross produced very well.if you think the track has been breed out of dogs, you need to find some of this blood up close.

two dogs directly out of this old blood did pritty good this past year. one is GRNTCH BENTLY'S BAWLING RAMBO. OWNED BY RANDY BENTLY of kentucky. this dog is off grnt moonshiner's sassy 2 (rattler/ sassy) and abbotts bawling rebel. he placed 12th in the ukc world and was the walker breed winner in the purina race.
.. the other dog is nt ch silver ch hardwood dakota. she is owned by mike church from verginia. she got in the top 20 of the pkc world was in the top 10 open money winnings for the state of virginia. she is i nice little dog and i guess is very consistant and has the coon when she trees. she is off old bud(rattler/sassy) and kate(lipper/ceder hill sass).kate was a sisster to moonshiner's sassy, so this dakota gyp is line bred . your freind jay
