It is pitifull at how long it takes UKC to post any of its bigger hunts. My geuss is they leave the MOH on the grounds and go to bed. They DO NOT put it very high on the list of things to do. It will be Monday and by then you will already know.

Friday night results were on the site yesterday, The Saturday show results and the Saturday night hunt results were posted by 6 am this morning, that is as about as fast as it gets??

I am glad to have my internet coonhunting buddies and i stand corrected. I have read that 10 times at least and overlooked it. UKC is my favorite KC and was really interested in scores and see how everyone faired at this great hunt always in a hurry i should slow down and read everything and not just scan down the page and then have a fet because i didnt see it. Again sorry for my stupidity.

Posted by Lee Currens Jr. on 01-10-2011 02:43 AM:

lol it happens,i knew they were get them up quick.
i called gave results of the overall show winners.
Cynthia gave a lot of the other winners and before
pictures were taking the lady from Georgia put
them all on the front pg.UKC cant put them up
before grand american committee does the report
its a lic. ukc hunt not a ukc ran hunt.

LOL lets don't let them off that easy. I would like to see blow by blow on such a famous hunt. LOL But i do realize it was down to what? a hundred or more? They do a good job.

I will post the double cast winners sometime today. There were somewhere around 20 double cast winners. The 3 that you are LMAO about were in the top 20 last year. I only have records for the top 20 over the past years. So we have no idea how many actually won their casts both nights in the past. It amazes me that the event isn't even a week gone and already people are trying to discredit the accomplishments these hounds made in winning their casts two nights in a row.
UKC's staff does a great job of supporting us at the Grand American. This is our event yet they help us in any way that we ask. They get the results posted and out to everyone pretty good I think. To the ones complaining about it - go help at a major event. If yall were waiting on me to post the results it would have been sometime today as I slept most of yesterday and the rest of the time I spent with my family that I hadn't seen since Wednesday.
We do not have internet service at the fairgrounds, and considering we left there around 8am Sunday morning I think they did a great job getting the results posted.
So on behalf of the Grand American thank you Tanya and Jamie with UKC for being there all night and helping us out with the Grand American.

It's no secret that I'm not a big fan of the GA. But, I will say the double cast winners is a plus!

One major thing to think about. Several guys have hunted two different dogs in years past. But, with the new format they more than likely will hunt the same dog both nights.

Also, the two high scoring dogs of friday wouldn't hunt on saturday with the previous format.

Good day!

PS The GA winner Mr. Shearin is a real double winner. He not only won a pup in a raffle this past weekend. He also won a second pup!

CONGRATS!

UKC's Allen Gingrich was there to go out with the final cast. I am sure that it was daylight before he got to bed. Jamie and that pretty Tanya Raab were there til 6 AM putting up with all of our complaining. Thanks to UKC and the Grand American Committee for putting on such a fine hunt.

Thanks Richard and the rest of the breed reps for being patient with us in getting the breed results to yall.
We left the fairgrounds at a little past 8am. Tanya and Jamie had to leave for Columbia to catch their flight and me for a 1 1/2 hour drive home.
They did a great job in getting the results posted as quick as they did!
Thanks to everyone who made this another great event!!!
