It is all over local radio... Favre is en route to Winter Park (Vikings facility). Contract is done.. pending physical Favre is a Viking. He wouldn't have shown up if he wasn't passing that physical.

Vikings got a good shot at the Super Bowl this year. But as a Vikes fan, winning the Super Bowl with Favre at QB with no Matt Birk would be like if I won the World Hunt with a bluetick... yeah sure it would be a great victory but tough to enjoy when you've spent years cheering against it. JMO, LOL!

i knew he would be with the vikings,,it didn't suprise me one bit!!! he just hates training camp...i can't waite for the packers and vikings to play..

I think he just enjoys the retirment partys and media attention he gets everytime he retires. As a Peyton Manning fan, I hope when it is time, He retires with a little more class then Favre.

I'll tell ya, with all the weapons the Vikings have on offense, signing a well seasoned quarterback who can manage the offense and all it's pieces might be the be best move the Vikings have made in a while. Not to mention how much he will be able to teach Jackson and/or Rosenfel (I imagine one of them might be gone now) for the future.

His critics talk about how he faded the last part of last season, but he won't have to carry this offense. Handing the ball off over 50% of the time to one of the best running games in football won't be too hard on his throwing arm.....and that will also do a lot towards slowing down the pass rush.

Add to that one of the best defenses in football..........I'm pretty excited.

Favre will help out. They didn't sign him to put up big passing numbers. They signed him to get 9 guys out of the box on defense so Peterson can make some plays. He doesnt have to throw, if defenses just think that the vikings MIGHT pass they are already a better team. Everyone knows Jackson sucks. He is not the future- hopefully he is gone before the season starts. His first pass in the pre-season game he forgot to let go of the ball and threw it into his own linemans back. They should keep Sage as a back-up in case Favre goes down and then John David Booty will hopefully be the future. If not, maybe there is some way we can get Colt McCoy next year? They got a good team now, but they did Moss's rookie year too and Gary Anderson missed that field goal and lost it all for us....

although i dont care there are less than 7 teams in the nfl that wouldnt be better a better team without Favre. i hope when the pack plays the vikes its not at the same time as the steelers because i want to watch this. i say vikes take both games.
