Freddy Fender

First off, I have nothing to gain by posting this in the way of profit or personal gain of any kind, but Henry Melton and I went to Bo Moore's for a hunt with Freddy last night (this is Henry's 3rd trip). Henry told me about Freddy a couple times but I needed to go see it for myself. Henry and I now both agree that Freddy is the closest thing to old Jar that either of us has ever seen! Matter of fact he is (other than color) a carbon copy of old Jar!!! I strongly agree, if anyone (including myself) that wanted, tried to get a pup or bred to old Cody Jar is wanting some of this blood go to Freddy to get it!!! Freddy's looks, actions, mouth, tracking ability, accuracy, etc is nearly identical to old Jar. I hope when Bo offers Freddy to the public that everyone that has any interest takes advange of what he has to offer! Just my and Henry's opinion....Henry told me to say he totally agrees...LOL!!!!

hey travis

this is good news to the monteagle mtn boys...and alot of others...im not stepping on anybodys toes but..here is my thoughts and my opinion only...ive hunted alot of different lines in the english breed and the cody jar dogs on average put more coons in trees here in the south were the coons are thin..the best young dog i ever had was off jar..she was tough to beat at 12 months old..at 14 months we finished 4th at english days outa like 80 dogs...she was a natural super quick track dog..here is my opinion...if cody jar was breed to the quality of females that some of the other well known studs were..he also woulda been on the reproducers list with alot more pups on the ground...ive always had a cody here and now im hunting a nice young male off ricards daisy duke which is off cody jar..just my opinion..

Henry is setting right here and he said he remembers it well. You're right, lots of super hounds in that pedigree!

Has Freddy got all you boys down there sayin uncle yet...LOL!!! Gary called and told me about you all's hunt last night. Keep me posted, although I think I know how it'll go, HAHA!!! Talk to one of you guys tomorrow!

Had a pretty good night even though it was a bad night with weather. Freddy looked good but Mason didnt look to bad either. When you turn jar dogs loose together there gona get split with a coon!
