Lee Crawford Pup Extravaganza Final Four Placings.

On behalf of the Officers and Board of Directors of the Treeing Walker Breeders and Fanciers Assoiation, I would like to express our sincere apology for the mix up in the wrong placings of the Lee Crawford Pup Extravaganza Final Four. The following is how the final four is and we will be in contact with the owners of the final four to advise them of what to do with the plaques. Thank you all for you understanding in the matter and it was a complete miscommunitcation on our part, again we are very sorry.

This is how they Placed:

1st Place: ‘PR’ Stylish Sackett Sam Jr., Jeffrey A. Stevens, Centreville, MI

2nd Place: ‘PR’ Bellar’s Grave Digger, Russ Bellar / Brian Hartrum, Peru, IN

3rd Place: ‘PR’ Maniac’s Dark Side of the Moon, Jason Smith / Jeff Maggart, Akron, IN

4th Place: Gr. Nite Ch. ‘PR’ Max’s Hardwood Sackett, Frank Giddings / Doug McCombs, Twin Lake, MI

how did u come up with these placeings.... u didnt use the rules that was told to all hunters and the same rules in the last two years......

First dog that got scratched got fourth

Second dog that scratched got third

Second Place had 275-

First Place had 250-

With that at the end of the hour who do you think is the cast winner???

Well, glad it all got squared away. Nobodies perfect, things get confusing, mistakes happen. Congrats to the winners and a big congrats to Tracy Thompson on making the cross that produced the winner. Ole Sam Sr is a goodun.

face barking lol

For one why should a dog get scratched for face barking on a small tree with four dogs on it? Heck I see see that all the time. And I don't think a dog should be awarded first for 250- going by ukc rules

the cast was told if they didnt tree a coon that they would go back to first scores this pup hunt was a ukc hunt not a PKC HUNT. THATS ALRIGHT I CAN READ BTWEEN THE LINES. RULES WAS THE SAME 2010 211 2012 TILL SOMEONE MADE THEM UP AS THE HUNT WAS DONE..

Hey Scott you were not on the cast there were two trees my female was on a little one that went into the one the GNT got scratched on so there was not four dogs on that tree because the gnt dog wouldn't let the Bellar dog that was there get on the tree thats called a scratchable offence. The other male dog was treed and was not at the tree and did not come in untill after we started shinning so you have the wrong info.

No Jay didn't hunt but he made the cross that was in the hunt. Jay does know what it takes to make a coon dog everybody has to give him credit for that.

why did they hunt ukc nitech rule if they was going to let u win with -????? when u win with - u hunt pkc plus points ukc - points pkc im not the sharpest tool in the shed but im not the dumest man in the box either.

Jay, the first year with the pup hunt the final cast was won on circle points. The other years they were won on plus points, this year was the first year with no coon seen. The rule is: If all dogs scratch or minus out then dogs will revert back to how the made the final four to be placed, other wise their will be a cast winner with minus points, and for your information the pup hunt final four is run on registered rules not championship rules. I will be giving you a call tonight after work and talking with you about this whole thing.

I would like to personally thank Alan Kalal and the entire staff of the Walker Association for reviewing the pup hunt off and awarding places based on the best score regardless.
I would also like to thank UKC, The Walker Association, and all the sponsers for putting on such a great event such as Walker Days. It takes a lot of effort to do this!
