Chief Executive R.I.P.

When I got home from work this evening I found a big part of my heart laying on the kennel floor. The only thing more important to me than Chief is God and my family. Actually he is / was family. He loved me the same and showed it by always doing his best to please me. Ill never replace him niether will I try. He was is and always will be the best hound Ive ever owned. He has braught me friends and fellowship along the way and has filled my heart with tons of joy. I never went to a hunt without knowing I had as good as a chance to win as anyone. We stuck with each other through the ups as well as the many downs. Ill miss you ole buddy.

Tree Chief! Ill miss saying that.

Dave. I'm real sorry to hear about this man. I know the feeling it tears ya up for a while but I'm sure I will see you again with another good one.

Really sorry to hear this! What a great pic, and what sounds like a great dog. My old dog died this past weekend, woulda been 14 years old next month.

That is a pic that says it all. You've joined a sad, but lucky club to be a member of. You've been lucky to have shared hrs and miles of joy. But sadly, had to say good bye. You can't replace him, but if you could, he wouldn't have been that special.....

My sweet wife gave me a nice scrap book of CHief for Xmas. We counted 78 win reciepts and I know Im missing a lot that I didnt keep. We had a good run that has made an impact in myself, my family, and my friends. Meery Christmas everyone. We should all celebrate the birth of Christ. Hes given us all so much.

Sorry to hear of your loss, I have recently lost my best and favorite hunting dog ever.
I know how you feel, and the pain never really goes away.
Today I saw a hound that looked just like her, and I wanted to cry It will probably be like that for you too.
Think back on the good times, and your hound will be with you for the rest of your life, in whats left of your heart.
