Everyone,

Coma's Stylish Amos was finished to grand ntch last night at Martinsville Indiana. He went from registered to grntch in exactly 1 year, and he was not pushed really hard at all in the hunts. He was put in a hunt in the spring, which he won, then was not hunted all summer long, until last month. In the last month he was put in 4 hunts and had 3 cast wins. His biggest win was at the 2009 Winter Classic, which he tied for 2nd place ntch Saturday night.
Almost all of his wins were in the Winter when the leaves were off, and I only judged 1 of his casts. He is directly out of Coma and will soon be offered at stud.
I will show him in the woods any night, any condition.

Congrats!! I guided and judged this dog last night and he looked awesome. Clear, frozen ground, around 20 degrees out and a skift of snow on the ground, I figured we would never see a coon, but he showed us 2 AND a legitimate den tree too, while the other dogs just couldn't seem to get their act together. His handler is a top notch guy too.

Good job with your coon dog Amos. I drew out with Dick in the winter classic last year with Sally. We had a great cast and scored on alot of coon. It was nip and tuck the whole hunt but got beat by Dick and Amos. Amos is as good of dog bar none that I have hunted with. I will be there at the WC again and hope to draw ole Amos. I am a blue dog man and always have been but I would feed Amos at my house any day. Good luck with him Dick. Looking forward to seeing you again.
