DO NOT READ THIS AND TRY TO ARGUE OR POINT FINGERS............I just was thinking after reading this site and Prohound site thru the years and I wanted to give as entertainment ONLY my opinion on some stuff that's said repeatedly thru out both forums.........


first and first type dog ---lot of barking
honest first strike --- waits til hes out of site to bark
absolute loner---- done been beat and shocked to death
hunts the woods you put him in--- might hunt might not
75% accurate------- 40%
likes to have a coon ----50%
lightly started-----aint hitting on much
wired 440----- strait up idiot that stomps crap all over pen
comes in heat once per/year---once about 3 years ago
has had 10 pups and raised them all-----aint worth a crap
trees possum every now and then---- fixing to find out you got a lot of posssums
needs some work on tree----hunt with sneakers and run
no bad tree habits----- aint made a tree in months
hunts as deep as needed---- runs roads real bad
needs some fur in his mouth---- 10%
been in 4 hunts won 2------ ????????? 4 is the number after 3
getting out of hunting------not hunting this DOG anymore
quiet around the house----- cant hear him at all
price between me and buyer----way more than I gave last month
cant hunt due to my work ------ need a new job
treed hundreds of coons ----- aint got a job
more of a pleasure dog ------- good luck finding pleasure in this
pro style dog ------fixing to be way over priced
one more SS left ------ didn't do crap at the last 3 LOL

I do know there are good dogs out there. I've bought and sold good ones on here myself.

Puppy Trainer,if your pup doesn't know how to chase dillers,possoms,or deer then buy a puppy trainer .

Thats pretty funny stuff Mr. Tanner. A couple of quotes as to how I interpret goes like this;

1st and 1st- Just my style so long as it is not babbling but probably does

Honest 1st strike- Means the dog is semi-silent to at least tight mouthed.

Wired 440- The dog will run anything that leaves scent.

All the rest I see pretty much the same way as you.

Thanks for breaking up my Frozen Tundra, still stuck in the house day.

I just have to chime in on this one.. My all time favorite is when you list a dog the first thing that comes is a text, do you have 1/2 a dozen pictures... Boy he sure is pretty..never hear another word other than maybe, wish I had the money... Maybe I'm backwards but if it won't suit me in the woods I don't care what it looks like. Looks and ability is a great combo but my experience is if a man is serious he picks up the phone and calls. He already has checked with his wife. He has already looked at where the dog is at and considered the cost for getting it home. He don't have to find another kennel. He don't have to ask his hunting buddy for a loan. If a man is serious about a dog he picks up the phone talks like a human is supposed to and asks the right questions and last says when can I come hunt with it?

I see often where a dog for sale is listed as a "scorecard dog" saying it's gonna get part of everything but when they get beat by this type of dog it's a "me too pos"

He's not mean but won't be put off a tree . Alligator

I like the ones that has a top notch hound that can't be beat for sale BUT he's only for sale cause they are pushing another dog. My question is why not just push this one????

Brood female =never ran or treed a coon in its life.
Too many dogs, they are all crap, will try to unload the worst one.

I love how so many people want nothing special, just a good pup trainer, Must go hunting hard! Accurate!! No bad habits for couple hundred bucks! = I want a 10,000 dollar dog for nothing

Have her fixed so she CANT have pups,and give her to someone that wants a farm dog to run around..I think they use to call these dogs "CULLS"..
