Put jewel in her first hunt last night, got beat by some nice dogs but still finished with plus points as a one year old, Ricky told that she was the best treedog there!! Good job on handling her Ricky.

Caz, That 11 mth old Rip dog is as loud a Blk dog as I've heard in awhile looks like he's going to make you proud sounds to me like your making some darn good crosses up there.Good luck on your up and coming youngsters. P.S. Keep me posted on Jewell's progress.

Thanks Paul. Rip is out of Grove River Rex and my female Lady. Unfortunately lady died shortly after that litter by the highway. She was Rex, Ace, Dualin Dan, and mighty Hoss.

Had a great hunt with Steve Reeves last night. Hunted King,Jewel, Slam, and a Slam pup. All dogs put on a good show.

Hunted rip the other night for 2 hours, made five trees. I know two were slick but way too many leaves on right now. But still, 12 months old and hunting like that will take him a long way. Just think if I knew there were coons in all trees. He would be one of the most outstanding dogs at his age. His tree style and way he can move a track is as good as a lot of grand night dogs I have seen. About 6 more months and he should be READY for the big dogs!

Hunting been alittle slow around here due to work and rain, but did manage to knock the dust off of King the past two nights. Even though it was rough and wet, I enjoyed every inut of it!

Jewel is still doing good. She hasn't been in a little while do to work and rain. She has started treeing ahead of her competition now, but with lack of hunting her by herself, i'm not sure if she is going to be the best solo dog even though she has split with the meet a couple times, but is still a very classy tree dog.

How yours been doin?

Well, things have been going great here at Flint River Kennel in the past few weeks. King is off to a good start in this years $ standings, Rip is turning into the nicest black dog ive layed my eyes on. So with that being said I have decided to sell my Jewel female. For she has been placed on the back burner. She has a UKC first, well started, nice tree dog, Wont hunt out far yet, but this is only her second kill season. She needs to be put in the woods. Bred Great! $1000.

Entered both King and Rip last night in a two cast $kc hunt and both were VICTORIOUS!!! Being the only two black dogs that showed up winning both the cast feels AMAZING!!! That was also Rips first $kc hunt. He will start his UKC journey on the next local hunt. Wish us luck at Flint River Kennels! Thanks
