the best cast i ever judged was quite a few years ago. It was the 2nd time i'd ever judged and it was matt turner and jon bassit. Lol i was pretty nervous b/c they both knew ALOT more about it than me, and i expected them to get mad at me for not knowing the the rules very well. it was a 2 dog cast i think it was champions but can't remember and it was propably the most educational cast i'd ever been on. They really helped me to understand the rules and it went really well! I dont like to drop names and say anyone is better than anyone else directly, but that was a pretty good cast, and i feel they did a good job of helping me learn how to judge. Also the day i did my apprenticeship with Dave Mcvay to get my PP license Dave did a great job of keeping up with the hounds and scoring most of the entire cast. He was judging the dogs very well and took the time to explain to me what he was seeing as it went on, we both carried score cards, and after the hunt was over he took the time to compare the score he had with what i had, and that was a very educational experience as well. Those are the types of experiences i go to these hunts for. I don't go to win, and i don't go to listen to people argue. I go to learn something, and watch the dogs work. I get frustrated when i draw with people i know are arguementative. It ruins the whole hunt for me. To me it's common sense, the dogs do all the work and you apply the rules to them, not to what benefits you the most.
chad or reggie mcgrady, jason vandigift, marcuz boyce, arthour collins, bill little, dave mqaine, chad or rick smith, sam zirkle

I guess i can go ahead and say Jerry Kelly lol everytime i go to the same hunt as him we end up drawn out togethor lol. Neither of us has ever won a cast we both ended up in, so we are good losers togethor! He's a pretty good judge too.
You guys have forgotten the best of all, Suzay. A few years back when Suzay and I were very active in trials, we always seemed to draw out together, she was always a hoot to hunt with.
I have hunted with too many good people to count and a few pure asses.
I have hunted with several good youth hunters in our area, already mentioned Garrett, but want to list a few of them.
Josh Davis
Caleb
Ashley Fluhart
Greg Miller
